I don't even feel like tagging and explaining all these so I hope you just enjoyed them the way they are!! :) As you can tell we have quite a little handful lately...in a good way of course ;) Loving my time at home with Sophie....

Things I'm in the process of making

So I've been doing a lot of creative blog stalking lately...here's a few of the things I liked and am in the process of trying to make myself! If they turn out nicely I will post pics for you to see! :)

ok I'm not actually "making" this one, but it's my inspiration for our mantle...I LOVE the look of this! The only thing is our fireplace is fieldstone, so it's going to look totally different!

love love this!! I have a vase that looks a bit different, but I love the idea! So I'm working on the covered eggs :)

oh I have TONS of frames around, so I'm currently covering one like this,..mine doesn't look as good though! Just need to find a cute flower like this too!

k so I bought some clothespins to paint, but I can't decide if I'll be putting this in Sophie's new room or the nursery...that'll decide what color I end up painting them

THESE ARE MY FAVORITE!!!!! Loved them, and how perfect that they match the decor that will be going in the fireplace room...so I bought the balls and a basket, but I need to go get the hemp and spray paint, so I'll let you know how these look...SO CUTE! :)

Sophie is ONE!!! :)

I can't believe it's already been a year ago that our little Sophers was born!! It's been an amazing year, we've learned so much, had lots of laughs, some tears early on I'm sure, and sooo sooo much more love in our lives! :) We love our little girl SO much and look forward to all memories to come in the years to come!

These days Sophie is walking EVERYWHERE! She's been walking for awhile, but she's definitely taken off in the last couple weeks. She laughs at everything, screams when you put food anywhere near her, only has two teeth still,has "Eric" hair, imitates a lot of things we do, makes the most hilarious faces at us, still has the most beautiful blue eyes, is taking much better naps, loves "talking" to strangers in the store, says mamma, dadda, "HI", makes the uh-oh noises...and then some. Oh I could go on forever ;) It's amazing at this age how quickly they pick things up and learn new things! The past year has been the BEST!

Life as of March...

So I realized I never update my blog because I never download my pics onto our computer! Well I finally took a TON of pictures of our house progress this weekend b/c I wanted to do a "house post"...well by the last couple pictures, all the sudden my camera BROKE!!! UGH UGH I was so mad!

Ooooh well...so I thought I'd just send a quick update anyways b/c I'm a terrible blogger, and hopefully I'll get the camera in this week to fix up :)

HOUSE PROGRESS:

• Our drywall mudder is finishing up tomorrow...my bro-in-law is starting to prime on tuesday...Kelly and I picked out carpet this past week...so all I have left to do is pick out just a couple more paint colors yet and almost ALL the decisions are DONE!! YAY!!!
• Our cabinets are being delivered this week, so hopefully by the weekend Eric will start working on putting them in, then the flooring will start.....ahh I'm getting so excited talking about it! (wish I had some pics to show you!)
• I've been reading a lot of "crafty" blogs (and those of you who know me, know that I'm NOT a crafty person) ...but I've got a couple ideas up my sleeve. I bought some "Sophie" wooden letters for now and painted them today, they're SUPER cute! (I'd show you if my camera worked...) and I bought a few other things,...I'll let you know if they turn out! :)
• uugh I sooo wish I had my camera so I could show you all the stuff I've picked out so far!!

OTHER EXCITING NEWS:

• haha yeah you all thought I was going to say I'm pregnant....

• teehee I'M NOT!! hehe ;) But my baby is turning ONE on TUESDAY!!! Can you believe it!! It's just unbelievable to me that it was almost a year ago now that she was born....crazy crazy!! (again...I'd show you some sentimental pics if my camera was working)

Also...Eric and I just went on a mission trip with our church a couple weeks ago now to Hattiesburg, MS. They are still doing Katrina clean-up there believe it or not! We spent the week building two brand new houses, and by the end of the week we made TONS of progress!! It was a great week, we of course had tons and tons of laughs and good times...and yes I will try to post a few pics...when my camera is fixed ;) hehe
