Birthdays and Easter

Few things we've been up to lately :)

Sophie finally had her birthday party! We had family and a few close friends over to Eric's parents house as we are not quite in our new house yet! Sophie had a great night...I made a cupcake cake (gasp...NOT chocolate!!) but she sure enjoyed the cupcake we gave her! lol...everyone said she ate very "daintily" haha it was cute...she just kept picking at the cupcake, then started grabbing it faster and faster as she realized we weren't going to take it away from her! lol

She gots tons of new great gifts, and we are sooo blessed with all the amazing people in our lives that came out to celebrate with us. I still can't believe it's been over a year now that she was born! What a blessing she has been to our family.

Then...last Sunday we celebrated Easter! Our day was spent going to church, visiting grandparents, eating with Eric's parents, and then finishing off the day in Muskegon with many of my relatives. As you can see there was an Easter egg hunt, Sophie made $3 and got mommy and daddy some candy! lol...and of course it was a horrible ordeal trying to get a picture of her in her new SUPER cheap $8 dress that I found for Easter...maybe we'll have to have a photo shoot some other day when she is in a better mood.

Super cute, Jen! I think I recognize those pants she's wearing - I recently bought the same pair for Madelyn. :) I can't wait to see your new house!!! Post some pics soon!
